What is Youth for Change?
Youth for Change is a youth-led program that aims at Inspiring, Informing and Involving Arab youth as Agents of Change in their communities.

Abdullah started his voluntary and development work with Future Youth Club and the National Council for Youth in Egypt. Then he started to work on local, national, and international levels. In 2007, he participated with "The League of Arab States" in some events with Youth & Sports Department, and then he participated in the League of Arab States Youth Forum 2007. He started to work regionally through networking with his friends and acquaintances. He founded along with other young people "Tawasol" Group where he developed his IT skills and passion for such work. In September 2008, he started his own project WupY "What's up Youth" (wupy.org) a portal to help, develop and empower youth all around the world through using the Web2.0 technologies. In the meantime he is working as a media advisor for Youth for Change Program, World Summit Youth Award Ambassador and 1st Arab Social Media Forum. Fathi was serving as the Yemen Focal Point for the Youth for Change program phase II. Since 2006, Fathi has served as a consultant and training specialist for many NGOs and SCOs in Yemen such as the Development House. In addition to his study )English Literature( at Sana'a University, he has received professional training in Jordan, Italy, Yemen, and USA and a most recent one about advanced new media Web 2.0 through the New Generation program in Washington DC, USA 2010. Fathi has training skills in leadership, human rights, citizenship, and new media. He also has excellent skills in translation, marketing, communication, negotiation and dialogue in addition to project management, networking, advocacy, and systems analysis. He is also the first Yemeni trainer in New Media Web 2.0 especially for people who live with HIV/AIDS and female activists. He has attended numerous conferences about youth leadership development in the United States, Italy, Jordan, and Yemen. He is hoping to expand his knowledge of Web 2.0 skills as a way to sharpen his advocacy and grassroots organizing skills. He writes in his blog which is called Change Weblog. http://www.fat7i.com
Naoufal is an active member in the civil and social work ever since he was 7 years old. Currently, he is considered one of the main founders for many developmental projects and programs in Morocco on both regional and international levels. He also works with more than 30 youth organizations that work with youth. Naoufal also co-founded the "Association Tiflétois New Life" (ATNL) and he is currently its chairman.
Rana is from Jordan and started her career in banking and finance but could not handle the rigid lifestyle, so after 8 years in this field she did a major shift. She dropped all the experience there to begin work in a field she enjoys; a field where she can feel that she can make a difference with people and in life. Rana joined UNICEF then UNFPA Jordan for a few years and then decided to set herself free from the system. She currently works as a freelancer consultant in youth development with different UN agencies in the MENA region. She hold a masters degree from the University of Jordan in Social Work (Her thesis is on the Role of Youth Groups on Self-development and Participation in Jordan).
She co-developed a handbook on Youth-led-initiatives and another handbook on Healthy Lifestyle Camps.
Dr. Waleed started his volunteer and social activities while he was in primary school with the Scouts Egypt in1984 and continued participating in several volunteer and youth activities especially at the American University in Cairo.
In 2000 he established with other friends the Future Youth Club in Cairo-Egypt, to develop the abilities and skills of Egyptian youth and prepare youth leaders. Now Dr. Waleed is a part-time Assistant Professor at the British University in Egypt and he is an Economic Consultant in Qatar Holding Company and the manager of the Islamic Bonds program to increase the capital of one of the biggest Qatari organizations for International Investment.
Dr. Waleed was nominated to represent Egypt in many international events inside and outside Egypt such as Youth Employment Summit from 2002 to 2010,Arab ICT Youth Forum 2005,etc. He was also the first youth representative from Egypt to be recognized and appointed by the Prime Minister to represent Egypt as part of the government's delegation to the historic 'United Nations 60th Summit' .Also he published some academic papers about Management of Small Businesses in some Economics Forums like the World Economic Forum.
